I've always been a fan of the original Star Trek since I can remember. While there are undoubted gems of wisdom contained in this episode, be warned that there are also spoilers — particularly about the new Star Trek Into Darkness movie. I was sitting on my grandparents couch being bored, and a brat no doubt, when I picked up the little TV Guide (remember those?); on the cover was a picture of a man with pointed ears. In an unprecedented move, Mark & Jerry compare the metal-suited superhero in Iron Man 3 & the second outing for J.J. Star Trek Memories by William Shatner and Chris Kreski. Subtleties aside, there were a few parallels I felt that the latest entry in the Star Trek franchise shared with Star Wars. Anyway, if you only read one book on this list, this is the other book you have to read. Smith has revised the book, now titled DeForest Kelley Up Close And Personal: A Harvest of Memories and due for release soon.
